Finish the project. Keep the learning.

Closing and archiving are part of progress, not just tidying a list.

Return to the original goal.

Before closing a project, compare the result with what you set out to achieve. Separate what is essential from improvements that can become another project.

Decide what happens to what remains.

Complete the necessary work or deliberately adjust the scope. Don’t mark a task complete just to hide it. If an important step remains, give it a realistic time.

Then archive.

Once the project is closed, archive it so it stays available without crowding your active work. Archiving is not deleting. It makes more room for what you are doing now.
